CTR Services in 2022 Report

CTR Secure Services 2022

Managing Directors Report

Another year has passed, and I firstly must thank all our clients, for their continued support and clear thirst and passion for enhanced converged security. We have seen a massive decrease in crime due to deploying our services and an uplift of duty of care over the past 12 months, from the 20th of Dec 2021 to the 20th Dec 2022.

This is due to our exceptional staff, both our PSOC and admin staff and our SIA Close Protection Operatives (engagement officers), who have gone above their normal duties in pursuance of the clients’ goals.

The following report outlines what we have done and our achievements this year:

CTR Secure Services Close Protection Tasks

As many of our clients know, our SIA Close Protection Operatives are different to the UK traditional CPO’s. In that, as Engagement Officers (EO) they need to provide a blanket of protection around the protected person to facilitate them completing their tasks. Not immediately extract the principle when a perceived threat is present.

Over the 24 years of operation, we have created this craft and will be working with QNUK next year in the development and delivery of a specialised UK SIA Close Protection Course dedicated to the Telecommunications and Energy Sectors. Again, amplifying our professionalism and recruiting new CPOs into our operational world.

Here is the amount of close protection tasks completed in 2022 each month:

CTR Secure Services CCTV Deployments

Over the past 12 months we have designed, developed, and implemented sophisticated CCTV and Video Alarm systems to minimise crime on client’s sites. All our systems are bespoke and fit for purpose. We value that cost efficiency is vital for scalability on client’s sites.

Next year, we are well underway with our new British made Vortex IoT system, that will be deployed to 1200 sites nationwide. The proof of concept was successful and welcomed by all our clients as a game changer. This new IoT technology will change the paradigm with regards to expensive CCTV costs and the shift away from Chinese owned CCTV brands.

The following statistics based on 2022 uplift, are broken down into 4 Areas, leading to our overall defeated attack and client Return on Investment (ROI):

Number of Cameras Deployed
0
CCTV Alarms Recieved

CCTV Defeated Attack Statistics & ROI

The defeated attacks equate to a minimum damage reinstatement cost of £10K per site attack (this minimum cost is an estimate as some reinstatement costs are upward of £250K). Through the reactiveness of our PSOC team each defeated attack is achieved by utilising the onsite Tannoy system with a directed and personal warning broadcast. During the year our PSOC members also talked down an IC Male from attempted suicide through empathetic communication skills.

Based on this calculation we have defeated the following amount of attacks with a ROI cost (saving reinstatement costs) of:

CTR Secure Services Predictive Intelligence

The CTR Predictive Intelligence Cell, developed by members of our team, is a fundamental part of the CCTV installation process. They collate crime intelligence through our own sources, external agencies, and social media AI crawling, to determine high risk areas for CCTV and Quick Reaction Team (QRT) deployments.

The reports created by our team include the following:

Confrontation Persons Report (Observations) – These reports created by CTR Secure Services and is one of very few that creates client intelligence reports of such nature. Our PIRs record Observations, including aggressive verbal threats on security or clients and Anti-Social behaviour

0

Confrontation Persons Report (Incidents) – These reports created by CTR Secure Services by internal staff members are helping clients make informed, aligned and strategic security decisions. Incidents, are attacks on the client or partners.

Site Theft, Damage & Vandalism (STDV) – These reports record theft, damage, or vandalism on clients’ sites. Mini Site Survey & Security Threat Assessments (MSSSTA) – These reports are generated by security professionals that need to conduct rapid security threat assessments. If a threat is present they are trained and equipped with our covert OWL system that can be deployed onto the site until a client decision can be made as to the security requirements.

CTR Secure Services Look Forward (2023)

As a look forward to next year, with the economic uncertainty within the UK. CTR Secure Services will still provide the same level of service to our ever-growing client base (Business as Usual). We are looking into various opportunities and to expand our successful portfolio. Some highlights for next year are:

CTR Secure Training Trisat security and medical centre of excellence

CTR Secure Training – TRISAT, security and medical centre of excellence (East of England)

We are in the process of planning permission for our new sponsored training school alongside our PSOC HQ. The two-storey facility will occupy and facilitate an open plan ground floor matted virtual reality training area (specific as a wet weather area). The first floor will cater for offices and an aired open plan training classroom. This complex is an extension of the grounds of the PSOC and will have extra office area for expanding departments.

CTR IoT Vortex

As previously mentioned, our rollout of the new Vortex will start manufacturing (1200 units) in January 2023, this will provide many clients with a cost effective and scalable camera alarm system which is British made (complying to government concerns). This new solution will be a game changer within the UK CCTV market.

CTR Accreditations

CTR Secure Services is proud of our accreditation accolade and so we are going for another three accreditations next year. Business Continuity, Security Management and Remote Video Receiving Centre (RVRC). When working with Blue-Chip companies, accreditation is important to meet the contractual demands and rigours of tendering and RFPs.
