However there are many specialist areas of our sector which all need to be placed according to these qualification frameworks. |

CTR Services as well as being and
approved training provider for The Security Industry Authority (SIA), Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College (BCUC),
and the Skills for Security (SFS), has developed Level 3 Qualifications with the National Open College Network (NOCN) to deliver the
Level 3 Firearms Safety & Tactics Course
the
Level 3 Protective Defence and other new courses for 2007 to develop
continual professional development personal portfolios. |

10 day Firearms
Safety & Tactics Course |
|
This level 3
course is recognised by the
National Open College Network
and the National Rifles
Association of America. It is
the first of its kind to deliver
realistic training with the use
of simmunitions and force on
force training backed by
recognised qualifications from
the USA & UK.
Obviously
with the firearms ban in the UK,
it is impossible to prove
competence with a weapon from an
academic point of view. CTR has
bridged this gap by providing
this qualification set at a
level 3 which enables both
civilians and ex-military
(ELCAS) the means of formally
education which is certified. |

The course is
split over 3 days in the UK and
7 days in the USA. The training
aids used by CTR are second to
none, with the virtual Reality
Based Laser Shot System and 270
degree live firing range. The
ammunition is in excess of 16000
rounds and weapons used range

Action Initiated Defence)
designed by Tremaine Kent. The
system has become
internationally known as the
most effective system of defence
for the security industry. This
course is both practical and
theoretical which will bring you
to a competent level whilst
holding a recognised
qualification. |
