Self Defence for Hostile Environments Course (1day)
Hostile Environments has a requirement to be armed (firearm), however your primary weapons system should be your body and especially knowing how to use your body effectively to preserve life
To further delegates that work within hostile environments on security related contracts and to develop the continual professional development, CTR Services and H2H Defence have designed a security self defence and personal security package to enable operatives to combine their firearms skills with their hand to hand skills to enable a more advanced system. The nature of this course deals with lethal force due to the nature of work the individual conducts, this is why we have strict pre-requisite rules to enter the program.
Prerequisites For Attendance
In order to take this advanced self defence for hostile environments course, you are required to have completed and passed the following courses or prove experience. The routes you have available are as follows:
1. Completed and passed a level 3 CP or Surveillance course.
or
2. Prove 5 years experience within hostile environments.
This developed course has UK certification with the Open College Network and Skills for Security; it provides delegates with an advanced surveillance system.
Self Defence for Hostile Environments (HEPD) Course Structure:
This Hostile Environments Self Defence training course was designed by CTR Services & H2H Defence Ltd to cater for the demand for personal security needs of the professional operative. The 1 day course is broken down into 2 modules which start with:
Defend - This 1/2 day Module covers the following subjects:
• Basic Combat Arts
• Anatomy of Defence
• Most Common Attacks
• Advanced Conflict Management
• Breakaway Techniques (minimum force)
• Reasonable Force (Close Quarters)
• Force Continuum (weapons awareness)
• Weapon to Hand Combative
• Weapon Retention
• Weapon Control and Disarm
Scenario Replication - This 1/2 day Module covers the following subjects:
• CQB Contact - Physical compromise
• Captive Scenario - Under duress
• Crowd Scenario - Multiple attackers
• Optive Scenarios - From you background and experience
We are accredited by the Open College Network and Skills for Security, we are also accredited by Bucks New University and preferred suppliers to the MOD with the Career Transition Partnership
