Advanced Surveillance Operatives Course (5days)

To further delegates static and mobile surveillance knowledge they will be further trained in the discipline of rural surveillance and mobile surveillance. They will be instructed in Rural - planning requirements, reconnaissance, and specialist equipment, OP siting, stages of build, understanding the elements and for Mobile - routine advanced communications procedure, convoy procedure and vehicle unison drills, anti/ counter surveillance vehicle drills, vehicle navigation drills, hazard/obstacle procedures . The package will be held over a period of 5 days and will include an intensive training syllabus. 

Prerequisites For Attendance

In order to take this advanced surveillance course, you are required to have completed and passed the following courses or prove experience. The routes you have available are as follows:

1. Completed and passed a level 3 surveillance course. (click here to learn more)

or

2. Prove 5 years experience within a surveillance working environment.

This developed course has UK certification with the Open College Network and Skills for Security; it provides delegates with an advanced surveillance system.

Advanced Surveillance Operatives Course (ASOC) Course Structure:

This Surveillance training course was designed by CTR Services to cater for the demand of the professional operative or investigator. The 5 day course is broken down into 2 modules which start with:

Rural Surveillance - This 2 day course covers the following subjects:

• Types of rural observation posts

• Rural observation equipment schedule

• Planning requirements

• OP insertion

• Camouflage & concealment

• Actions on

• Rural OP reconnaissance

• Practical construction of OP

Mobile Surveillance - This 3 day course covers the following subjects:

• Vehicle preparation

• Vehicle communication overview

• Formation drills

• Speed ratio calculations

• Manoeuvre exercises

• Vehicle unison drills

• Navigation skills

We are accredited by the Open College Network and Skills for Security, we are also accredited by Bucks New University and preferred suppliers to the MOD with the Career Transition Partnership
